Hi girls,
I dedicate this post to girls who wants that simple makeup habit that can give you much coverage on blemishes.
Lets start of by…
1. Wash your face. I recommend Garnier (Php 87).Its been 5 months since I swapped my Cetaphil and TheFaceShop Smart Peel habit for this facial wash / scrub but since then I never had problems with breakouts.
2. Use a brush to swipe your face and neck with Maybelline BB (Blemish Balm) Cream. It gives your skin the right amount of sun protection while it holds the make up longer just like foundation. Plus its light weight! ;) A very smart choice because its both cheap (Php 255) and available at most cosmetic stores.
*if you’ve got some blemishes to hide apply an extra amount (just a little bit) and pat it on the area. Careful, you might swipe it because it will turn out to be uneven. It will be obvious when the powder is on it.
3. Use a Powder brush to apply the foundation evenly. I use Mary Kay Mineral foundation in beige. Its one color darker than my actual skin color. I use darker shade because I don’t want it to look unnatural. See, if I use a lighter one I’d end up looking pale.
Mary kay is quite a good brand and is not too expensive (Php900). I have been using it since June and had finished a pack already but since then I haven’t had any rashes.
*Remember I have a very sensitive skin so I’m quite too picky when it comes to brands.
4. Put color of your face ;) Use a blusher brush to blush. Coral pinks are great on yellowish skin like I do. I use Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color. Whats amazing with this is that you won’t need a highlighter. Its 2 in 1 already!
5. Define your eyes. Its up to you if you’d use false eye lashes but do put on 2 coats of mascara or liner.
6. Dab on lip protector. With this you can still get a youthful looking lips without the shine but just looking natural.
Just great for daily make up.
xoxo,
