No matter what healthy habits we follow, we all need a breather once in a while. I know this is just a mini act of rebellion and I'll be back to my regimen on Monday. For me, a break is usually followed by an even greater commitment!There is an option on Weight Watchers called the Simply Filling Technique where there is no counting involved (well, almost none). You eat foods off of the Simply Filling list until you're satisfied (NOT FULL!) and there's no counting involved. I've heard this can really be a successful way to get to your goal.
You choose from Fruits, Vegetables, Whole Grains, Non-Fat Dairy, Lean Proteins and a variety of seasonings and condiments plus some healthy oil each day.
The only points you count are those from foods not on the Simply Filling list (you get 49 points for those). I may extend my no counting rebellion through next week and try the Simply Filling Technique.
