Happy International Women’s Day!
It’s late in the day, so I’ll keep this short and sweet.
Since the early 1900s, this day has been celebrated throughout the world. It is meant to inspire women, and celebrate their achievements.
Here in the US, this day happens to fall at the front end of ‘Women’s History Month,’ a month-long celebration that far too many are unaware of.
Seeing as our 2WC is powered by two women (it is in our name) it seems fitting that we should observe this event, even if it is just in this small way.
