Hey there! Please pardon this brief interruption to your Sunday.

There's a lot of craziness going on in the world, and it's easy to feel jaded. Especially if you forget to look for the light. So, on this sunny, summer Sunday, I've got some enlightening stories from this past week and some things to look forward to.

Something to pique your curiosity. Something to restore your faith in humankind. And something that's a little of both...

First up, it's Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. That means you can break out your random shark facts, pick up a few more, and drop in some random "Finding Nemo" quotes for no reason whatsoever. Fish are friends, not food...

Back on dry land, Luke Skywalker is saving lives...sort of. The LUKE - a bionic hand named after Luke Skywalker - could help restore amputees sensory abilities. Researchers at the University of Utah have developed a prosthetic system that will allow patients to regain their sense of touch. That is truly wild in a heartwarming way.

Finally, let's venture a little bit out there to the International Space Station (ISS). This week NASA launched the SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft. Its mission was to deliver 5,000 pounds of research, crew supplies, and hardware to the ISS. However, the reason I'm actually sharing this story is because of a small six-liter package that was also included in the cargo.

The purpose of this stowaway, to educate students on the basic principles of fluid flow in microgravity versus normal grav...and okay, NASA launched Nickelodeon slime into space on a dragon(X)! I mean, how incredibly nerdy and cool is that?!? (and yes, I am a 12-year-old boy)

Okay, that's all I've got for you. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday (and Monday). Don't let the world get you down. Look for the light. Be the light. Stay curious, be kind, and I'll see you on the flipside of Monday.

...just for fun:

Can you watch this trailer too many times? Asking for a friend...
