…Face Off

Posted on the 08 March 2013 by Zer @the2women

logo_facebook Facebook users, sharpen your pitchforks and start stretching your rant-typing fingers. Change is coming to a News Feed near you.

If that’s not enough to light the flame of rebellion. Pleas allow me to provide a match and some lighter fluid.

This time, Facebook has the audacity to make your News Feed more organized. Rather than be limited to “most recent” and “most popular” you’ll forced to sort through “photos” and “links” and even “friends.”

What do they think we are? Decision-making machines?

It was bad enough having to choose between two filter options before.

Of course, let’s face it, this change really has nothing to do with us, the users.  Or to put it more accurately, it’s not about us.

It’s about the advertisers.  Just imagine how pretty their adds will look right in the middle of your simplified News Feed.  Plus with the new filter settings, you won’t have all those pesky “friend” posts distracting you from all the cool new products.

I’m sure we’d be downright outraged over it, if we weren’t too busy downloading the latest app craze that we heard about on Facebook.

What were we upset about again?
