Justin Bieber and Beliebers alike are having a rough time as of late. He’s lost his monkey, his top Klout score, and now his “King of Twitter” title is being called into question.
According to a recent analysis of the 140 character-bound site found that nearly half of the Biebs’ 37.3 million followers are fake.
Ouch!
Making it even worse, another 2.6 million of those remaining followers are inactive, putting him in second place behind Lady Gaga even after you boil her following down to the “real” followers.
Some may see this as a real blow, but why not see it as an opportunity? It has real intrigue.
And really, what’s a million or so Twitter followers when tweens the world over adore you and your monkey-related antics regardless?
Can Bieber overcome this tweet-driven travesty and reclaim his Twitter dominance? Rest assured that 2WC will do our best to keep you apprised of the situation.
