Well "Game of Thrones" fans, the dragon has spoken, the story has been told, and now we're tasked with keeping our collective mouths shut for those who couldn't watch it last night.
That's just good manners.
May we all go through this week (or at least today) with the confidence of someone who called the ending of "Game of Thrones" but has the dignity and grace to keep it to themselves. I'm sure we all did in our own way (and that is the story each of us will tell through the ages). And to anyone out there who actually called it. I applaud you.
And now, here's my spoiler-free reaction to the "Game of Thrones" series finale.
It was never going to be easy to conclude this complex collection of stories, but I think it ended very well. Some might say it was just as it always should have been. But that's all I'll say for now.
To those of you who still have the finale ahead of you, enjoy.
To those about to rewatch it for the fourth time, I salute you.
To all of you, I'll end with a quote out of context that I think we can all agree on.
"The world we need is a world of mercy, it has to be."
Jon Snow
