This Earth Day Eve, crusaders, I thought it would be nice to (at least for a moment) put our differences aside and remember the one thing that all of us have in common. No matter what our beliefs are, what our background is, all of us are from the same place, planet Earth.

Of course, along with just about everything else, the environment has become a very political topic of conversation. So I’m not going to say anything about climate change…
Or the senseless debates over scientific fact…
I’ll just stick to the things we can agree on like not littering because regardless of your beliefs about the full impact of that garbage you threw on the ground, I think we can all agree that keeping our home clean is a good thing…
And yes, real change is going to take some difficult conversations, but let’s start with enjoying our literal common ground, Earth.
