Before we dive into our #FlashbackFriday posts here is a really quick recap of what you may have missed on Chasing Joy this week.
I celebrated my birthday last weekend. I went out with some girlfriends, to dinner with my mom, and to the spa by myself. I also treated myself to a day off from the day job. Now I'm trying t figure out a way to treat myself to more days off. It was so relaxing.

This week on the blog I wrote about my experience ordering a cake for my birthday. Ordering my cake this year was much more complicated than ever before. Later in the week I wrote about how to use Pinterest to lift your mood when you need a Joy pick me up.
