We’ve officially reached the dog days of summer. Which is quite an accomplishment considering what kind of summer it’s been.
It’s been hot, literally and politically. A Vice Presidential candidate has been announced; The West Nile virus is making a comeback; there’s a WikiLeaks
standoff going down in London and, let’s face it, there’s plenty more going on.
If that’s just too much to handle, don’t worry there’s even more coming down the pipeline.
But in an attempt to keep the stress at bay this Sunday, we’ll stick to the weather.
Accuweather announced its winter forecast for the US this week, and it seems the middle of the country is in for more of the same (warm and dry), while the east is in for a brutal, snowy winter.
Of course, all it takes is a quick glance at Accuweather’s predictions for last winter, to know that they are sometimes less than accurate (click here if you don’t believe us). So, it’s safe to say that the only thing predictable about this winter’s weather (and the political scene, for that matter) is that it will be unpredictable.
It’s also inevitable. So for now, enjoy this late summer Sunday and leave the weather (and all the other craziness out there) to its own devices.
