Hello there!
I’m the proud mother of a seven year-old Yorkshire Terrier called Taxi Driver. And I love him with all of my heart. But I don’t love him just for the obvious reasons. What I mean is that I don’t love him just because he’s cuter than a button and fits into my handbag. The wonderful thing about having Taxi Driver in my life is that he makes me less selfish. His happiness and well-being are my responsibility. He depends on me. No matter what is going on in my life, this little guy needs me. And I need to be needed. Putting him and his needs first, above my own, makes me feel good about myself.
Taxi Driver makes me a better person because, with him by my side, not everything can revolve around me all the time. He reminds me on a daily basis that I am a good, responsible person with a kind heart. And that’s why I love him. My sweet, pocket-sized, four-legged constant companion is just what I need.
