This Sunday we find ourselves on the brink of a crossroads: behind us the Olympics, before us the Oscars.
This Thursday we’ll begin our marathon of reviews of all of this year’s best picture nominees (and a few bonus ones). So today, we thought we’d take the time to wrap-up our Olympic coverage.
Of course we’ll probably have a thought or two on the games between now and Wednesday, and we reserve the right to work Olympic references into our reviews. So few people see the wonderful parallels between “Nebraska” and curling.
Today though, will be our final Sunday blog of the Games. So, farewell winter games, it’s been real. Some may disregard you in favor of the summer games, but without you we’d never have known we could care so much about cross-country skiing.
