Come on, whether you like John Mayer or not {and yeah, I do – I love his mellow sound}, this song popped into your head when you read the title. It definitely got stuck in my head when I was plotting and planning items for this week’s round of Friday Style {the theme this week is: neon}. So I figured I’d just do you a favor and make doubly sure it got stuck in your head 
I’m not much of a neon person {seriously, color in general can be kind of jarring when you spend probably about 85% of your life wearing clothes meant to blend with your environment}, but I do crave the occasional bright accent. Sometimes you just want something that screams, “I’m here, I’m alive, I’m bright, I’m shiny, and you WILL look.” Here are some of my top choices for that bright accent piece, and yes, I would wear any one of these. Maybe, if I’m feeling rebellious, two.

And not to take myself too far out of my comfort zone, here are three toned-down options that I would want to wear these with. I think the combination of neon and neutral creates such a nice complement.
