Happy Friday, folks! Pastels are the talk of the fashion world this time of year, and since I’m definitely needing something that feels like spring, I’m paying attention. It’s interesting to see how different folks have incorporated them into everyday wear. In previous posts, I’ve only explored the idea of designing around pastels in a costume-y kind of way, but there are lots of little pastel details you can incorporate that, coupled with classic neutrals, really make a nice statement.
Rachel Zoe’s top pastel recommendations
Taking my lead from Rachel Zoe‘s recommendations, I’ve been playing around with pairing some of these great picks with neutrals and forming pastel outfits that, well, I would actually wear. Check this out:

I’m not a pastel person by nature, but I don’t think I’d have any confidence issues about pulling this combo off! The budget for the Ralph Lauren shirt…well, that might be another thing, but this is a Friday’s Fancies post, so we don’t worry about things like that
Hoping everyone has a wonderful Friday, and wishing you and your family a happy Easter!
