Yes, you get a two-part Friday Style post today! I can’t do a post on Friday without linking up with Friday’s Fancies on {long distance loving} and I can’t do a post about “shine” without giving voice to everyone’s favorite shiny stuff: jewelry. Today’s Friday’s Fancies link-up is all about designing around jewelry, but when it comes to jewelry, my tastes are {at least I think so} unexpected. Let me tell you about my favorite type of jewelry, sea glass.
Sea glass?
Amazing stuff. It’s nature’s beautiful way of recycling. Sea glass is weathered glass that has been beaten up and naturally frosted by the sea and then washed up on a beach. The result is beautiful frosted blue glass that enterprising folks make into beautiful jewelry. One of my favorite spots to shop for sea glass is this little boutique in Maine but you can find it lots of different places. Here’s how I’d style it ~
