There are many places here in the United States that have some beautiful luxury homes. I guess architecture is a bit of a hobby for me, but not only architecture the whole process of building, finishing, selling and living in a beautiful home. And the many different regions of the country all have amazingly different types of homes that I love.
In the southwest you’ve got adobe style houses. Over in the Rockies you’ve got beautiful mountain ski homes, out in California in Malibu you’ll see some amazing beach houses as well. But my favorite area for luxury home viewing is South Florida, especially Ft. Lauderdale. Plus there’s so many fun things to do in Ft. Lauderdale other than house hunting. Just get there take a look around and you’ll love it. And if there’s rain, don’t worry, it will pass in about five minutes.
Now back to the houses. There’s just so much history. And the city of Ft. Lauderdale has done such a great job at preserving that history. Through generous grants and private donations different historical societies have been able to purchase, refurbish and preserve some wonderful South Floridian style homes in the Ft. Lauderale area. If you have an opportunity to check them out, I would highly recommend it. Just make sure that you bring a camera because trust me you’ll be taking a whole lot of pictures. And these pictures will be of some of the most beautiful houses in all of the United States
