Happy Monday!
To those preparing to host and/or attend a Thanksgiving celebration this week —happy calm before the storm.
For some of you the craziness that is Thanksgiving week may have already started. After all, there is a lot to plan for.
Between traveling, coordinating the meal and your family and friends, we should all be thankful simply for the fact that we don’t lose our minds. With all the stress it’s more than a little easy to lose sight of what this day is really about.
Of course, there are those who look forward to the craziness that comes after all this quality family time—Black Friday. Although, this year it is coming a little early with many stores opening their doors on Thanksgiving day as early as 8 pm.
It seems like it’s only a matter of time before we skip Thanksgiving all together and proclaim November 1st through December 24th National Shopping Month (…and a half). Maybe they’ll mark the half-way point with a Black Friday Week as a memorial to the week formerly known as the week of Thanksgiving.
