Welcome to 2015! We’ve officially made it to the future, or at least the one imagined in 1989’s “Back to the Future II.”
And I’m sad to say that we’ve come up a little short on some of the films predictions. Although for all our shortcomings we do have a couple successes:
- Video phones — I like to think that FaceTime and Skype are a little bit cooler than the big screen video phone.
- Computer Glasses — So we haven’t exactly perfected these, but I think that’s okay. Computer glasses are a little bit creepier than “Back to the Future II” could have possibly imagined.
Okay, so it’s not a long list. But with exception of the hover boards, I don’t think we’re missing out on much. Flying cars just sound like a bad idea.
