On the eve of the Golden Globes, our nation is dealing with a shortage of a different kind of gold…liquid gold.
Across the country, mac is going uncheesed, and chili is going sans queso. Yes, that’s right, there’s a Velveeta shortage.
Fans of the “cheese product” have suspected the shortage for days, but yesterday Kraft confirmed that the rumors are true.
Kraft city ted “minor manufacturing challenges” combined with seasonal demand for the shortage.
But the rest assured, the official statement via Tumblr assured fans that this is not a publicity stunt…and if you don’t believe them feel free to follow the inevitable updates on their Twitter account.
