Good news, nerds, geeks, space enthusiasts and anyone unhappy with the results of yesterday’s Iowa Caucus; 2012 marks the beginning of commercial space flights (sort of).
In the past, spaceflight has been for the ridiculously wealthy, who could book private flights to the International Space Station.
But no more, now for the low price of $95,000-200,000, you too can take a trip to the outer edge of earth’s atmosphere.
You even have a few airlines to choose from. Although, Virgin Galactic with its three-day experience will probably be the most glamorous.
And if your journeying to the final frontier, you might as well go all in. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you didn’t get your money’s worth with your five minutes of weightlessness at the bargain price.
