…Get Out

Posted on the 28 January 2014 by Zer @the2women

20140127-192124.jpgIt’s less than a week until the first-ever outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.

The stage is set — MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The players chosen — the Seattle Seahawks vs. the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, the forecast is less than everyone’s ideal.

Although, to be fair to Mother Nature, the naysayers wouldn’t be happy even if it was In the upper 30s with only a 20 percent chance of snow or rain (Ahh, springtime)…which is what the forecast is for Sunday.

It turns out, a lot of football fans and former players are pansies. Last year, nearly half the game was played in a partially lit stadium, and you’re concerned about a few snowflakes?

It’s just a little cold. The middle of the country would kill for a taste of 32 degrees, so 39, well now you’re just making up numbers. Everyone knows that 39 always has a negative sign in front of it.

And to fans who are luck enough to have scored tickets to this historic Super Bowl — dress in layers, enjoy your “free” swag (they’re handing out gloves, hats, earmuffs, and hand warders), and suck it up.
