Happy Mother’s Day weekend! Consider this your last minute reminder to do something nice for your mother.
Be it flowers, a card, or your presence, take some time to get your Mother’s Day act together. In case the pressure has already gotten to you, here are some things to keep in mind.Not all mother’s day gifts are created equal. What works for one mother may not work for the other.
Also remember that while Mother’s Day may be a happy occasion for some for others it can be a reminder of a mother or child lost. So be respectful.
Last, but not least, do not get your mother a gift that requires or implies more work. That means no vaccums, kitchen appliances, or aprons…unless she asks for them.
