Cyclists of the city of Chicago, consider this your official warning. Your days of distracted driving (or cycling, rather) are numbered.
If a new texting ban gets passed, you could be cycling sans cellphone as soon as next month.
I know it will be tough. It’s tough to unlearn such a natural habit.
Where are your hands supposed to go if not locked tightly around your cellphone? Where should you direct your attention if you’re not focused on sharing all your delightful adventures with the Twitterverse as you nearly run over half the pedestrians in Chicago?
With a little practice and patience, I know you can do this.
