For me, there’s little else out there as inspiring as live theater. The sheer endurance it takes to put on eight shows a week is an inspiration in itself…
…but there’s so much more motivation to be had…
The way storytelling and performance (not to mention the sets, lights, and countless other pieces of the grand collaboration that is theater) come together in one beautiful shared experience with the creators and audience all in the same space is awe-inspiring…
And as magic as that moment is, that kind of collaboration is not unique to theater…at least it shouldn’t be. The end result might not be as musical or glamorous, but I like to think it can be as magical…
So this week as we all (as I know we all will) count down the days to the Tony Awards, take note of those less theatrical, but just as magical moments of collaboration in your life, and maybe maybe add a little sparkle all your own…
