Astronomy nerds, the second of three supermoons of this summer is nearly upon us.
Even more exciting this supermoon is extra, well, super.
If you missed out on the last one (…Phase In), then you’re probably wondering what a super moon is. Well, to put it simply, it’s a full moon that aligns with the point in the moon’s orbit when it’s closest to Earth.
This particular supermoon happens to also line up a meteor shower tomorrow night.
If your forecast calls for cloudy skies, don’t worry. The next supermoon is in less than a month — September 9th.
