Okay guys, I’ve got to come clean. I wrote this before the Oscars aired.
If you don’t really think about it, it’s sort of like time travel: The me that is currently writing this doesn’t know who stunned on the red carpet, or delivered the perfect acceptance speech, or interrupted Matthew McConaughey’s acceptance speech to say that Leonardo DiCaprio is the best thing to happen ever and deserves that Oscar and all Oscars (the nerve of some people).
That would be both horrible and awesome if that actually happened.
True story is after the crazy whirlwind of 2WC’s Oscar Countdown, I knew I wouldn’t have the time to devote to the kind of Oscar wrap-up I would like to have featured today. My apologies, but you have to admit that this letter from three days ago is not too shabby…especially if it turns out I’m psychic with that whole Leo thing.
