Nearly a year ago, the Daily Post asked: Your blog just became a viral sensation. What’s the one post you’d like new readers to see and remember you by?
At the time, I had no idea but posted something anyway. Today, I look back at the answer and completely agree. It’s still live, but I’ll post the meat of it again here because many more friends have joined me on my blogging journey and this tidbit of information bears repeating.
By the way, if you’re new here– welcome home, my friends. Thank you so much for adding your story to my world!

If you’re feeling generous, you’d say that I’m a versatile, well-rounded person. If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, you’d say I’m easily distracted and passionless.
Either way, the point is valid — I couldn’t really think of one thing about me, or — by proxy — my blog, that sums up the message I want to translate to the people I meet along the way. I don’t have a cause or a mission, and my interests are fleeting. I married a writer/artist — a real one– so to me it’s easy to see the difference between someone with true passions and someone with passing hobbies.
I don’t see it as a bad thing, just a different thing.
Still, the thing about me– the thing that distinguishes me as a person and a blogger– is that I am here for you. I may say I don’t have passions, but that’s not entirely my truest story.
You see, I have a deep love for people and if I had only 10 seconds of your attention– that’s the message I’d want you to take away from my blog.
I care about the stuff that happens to you, the stuff you do, and the stuff that makes you who you are. And if you need something, within reason, I’ll do what I can do to help.
It’s not the glitziest message, but it’s sincere. Life is heavy– so don’t carry it all by yourself!
