speaking of the grand canyon, I have often heard the canyon's colors can dramatically change over the course of just a few minutes. the two pictures I have posted here were scenes from the same general area at one of the last viewing points towards the exit of the park. we were at this particular spot for about 30-40 minutes - we didn't want to leave! I stood in awe as I watched this scene unfold before my eyes. you might be able to notice a hint of the blue color seeping into the frame of the upper left part of the top photo before most of the landscape made it's color change to shades of blue as seen in the photo below. utter awesomness.
