Hanging Out with the World's Biggest Fish

The Butandings! These giant lovelies are found in Oslob, Cebu, Philippines. We were 7 adults and 1 cutie 2-year old so we hired a van (ended up paying half - 2,500 pesos) from Dumaguete to Oslob and back plus PhP80 pesos each for the roundtrip lancha trip. To see the Butandings, the rate for foreigners is double the Filipino/local rate. Prepare to spend PhP700 pesos (locals) and PhP1,500 pesos each for snorkling with the Butandings that include the boat and boatman. Additional PhP500 to rent an underwater camera.
