I recently switched internet service providers, although it was a battle. I opened the new account on the 2nd of this month, and it was only yesterday that I finally got up and running with them. I do have to say it's nice to have the extra speed. Before I was only getting 6.7mpbs Download, and .98mpbs upload and when I checked it yesterday I was getting 44.3mpbs download, and 10.98 mpbs upload... yup, a big difference.
I tried opening all of my usual sites and noticed right away that they responded much quicker.I was having trouble with my own site, in that it took so very long to respond, and had been blaming it on the hosting company, but after the change in internet, it also opened much faster.
As to work, I spread myself out between two different contractors, and the jobs vary. Anything between installing windows, to building fences. My latest job will be painting a two story apartment from top to bottom. Not so much physically demanding, but still demanding, but something to do.
I've been writing on another site lately as well. It is part of the Blockchain, and is called Steemit. I came across this site accidentally, and decided to check it out. It actually pays for content, and a few other things, so I thought, why not give it a try. I have to tell you it is very hard to get your work noticed there and to earn much, but at the same time, it is a free site, so I don't really mind.
Another thing I like about it, is I was able to download a Wordpress plugin that when I post on my own site, it is automatically uploaded to the Steemit site.One thing about the Steemit site, it is very hard to get accepted there.
