Hola from Barcelona! I couldn’t help but post a little in-progress update on our trip, especially since the absolutely outstanding International Conference on Corporate Reputation, Brand Identity, and Competitiveness here has almost culminated. We’ll be packing up over the next day, hopping on the train, and then spending a few days taking in the sights and sounds of Paris! I’ll be doing more in-depth recaps of the conference, our presentation {which went very well today, I might add!}, Barcelona, and Paris after we get back and finish the moving madness, but for now, I wanted to share a few highlights from the time we’ve spent here.
Barcelona Sightseeing / Barcelona Segway Tour / Reputation Institute Day 1
First off, if you haven’t been using ptch to share video snippets, you should. It’s enormously versatile, as my sister has proven by her many presentations. She put together three that I’d like to share with you – one on touring Barcelona and seeing the sights, one on our Segway tour of Barcelona {seriously, it’s a terrific way to see the city sights if you’re working with limited time and don’t have a car}, and one on the first day of the conference. We did get video of our presentation today and I’ll be sharing that once we’ve downloaded it, if you’re interested in seeing what we were up to!
And finally, here I am with my co-researchers, Karen and Sabrina, our fellow panelist Ruth and moderator Seamus, getting ready to unleash system dynamics on unsuspecting communication and reputation professionals!
This has been an amazing trip so far, and I can’t wait to share all the details, but for now, there’s more adventuring {and a bit more work} to be done, so stay tuned!
