Home Remodeling Projects Are a Snap When Using Wall Covering.

As I grew up my parents moved so many times you would have thought we were in the military. Thankfully they stayed in the same city but as a kid when you move across town from your friends it might as well be to another city. Either way I am grown up and have long since moved out of the house. My poor father however is still subject to my mom’s extremely short attention span. We believe all of the moves have something to do with her being bored.

So when I had a call with my parents a few months ago it came as no surprise that they were moving again. It’s funny, they always try to justify it with an excuse. “The yard was too big”, or “The property taxes were too high”, or “the rooms were too small” are a few of my favorites. Well they found a nice little house but it needed a freshening up and remodel of just about everything. The old couple that lived there before was there for about thirty years. They had wall covering on every wall that would’ve even made someone in a leisure suit blush. Yuck.

So as most good sons do I helped them move and helped out quite a bit with the remodel. My mom is officially an amateur interior decorator after doing home remodeling projects so many times with all of the moves. She’s actually gotten pretty good at it, but when she said they were going to use a company called Atrium Wall Coverings for all of the walls I had to put my generational foot down and remind her that wall paper is so nineties. Well I got schooled by my mother because when I checked out the website with her I was floored by the cool factor of their wall coverings. I’m actually redoing all of my bedrooms with Atrium, but don’t tell my mother that.
