I'll have a post coming later in the week with pictures from the shower {my adorable friend Sylvia who is 8 months along with a little girl... Ruthie!} as well as a few more sneak peaks of the nursery progress... I know the last one wasn't much {my bad}. Things are starting to come along and ALL I'm wanting to do is nursery prep!
I've been feeling really great these past few weeks with just a few spurts of back and hip pain... nothing I can't handle! And it's all worth it for sweet Keelin!
I'm going to attempt to take my first dance classed tonight {don't worry, I plan on taking it easy and most likely will just stick to ballet barre} and I can't wait. I'll let you know how it goes! THEN I'm heading back 'home' to Virginia on Thursday night for a fun filled weekend of a bridal shower for my friend Amy hosted by my mom and yours truly and then my first baby shower in Lynchburg with a handful of friends from college! I can't wait to see everyone and being at Sylvia's shower made me EVEN MORE EXCITED!
Alright, now down to business! Here are the weekly stats!
*How far along? 21 weeks 2 days today*Total weight gain/loss: none this week but hubby got me a new scale that isn't totally lame so I'll be able to track things much better! Seriously, who in their right mind is EXCITED about getting a scale?? Crazy Preggo!!!*How big is baby? banana!!!*Maternity clothes? Still hanging on to my pre-preggo pants but it's looking more and more like a shopping spree is necessary!*Stretch Marks? nope*Best moment this week? Z feeling Keelin kick! It was right before we went to bed and he felt her twice. I was so excited he finally felt her move and he was ecstatic!*Movement? Yes lots of little nudges especially after I eat!*Food Cravings? Nothing in particular.*What I miss: Being able to sit criss-cross-applesauce in my chair at work. It's basically impossible now... and quite uncomfortable if I attempt it!*What I am looking forward to: BABY SHOWER THIS WEEKEND! Headed to VA to help my mom host a bridal shower for my friend Amy and getting my first baby shower with my college dance/theater friends! I can't wait to see everyone!*Nausea/Vomiting? Nope... feeling fantastic!*Labor signs? NO WAY*Gender? Sweet girl!*Belly Button in or out? Still in but stretching. I took my belly ring out on a tip from an old friend and it's much easier to rub now :)*Wedding rings on or off? still on and still loose*Sleep? Broke my record of having to mee in the middle of the night on Sunday... 3 times! Although I'm sure I'm just prepping for feeding times when sweet Keelin arrives!*Weekly Wisdom: Meltdowns will happen... just let them play out and ALWAYS blame the pregnancy :)
