I Really Appreciate My Wife...........

Posted on the 14 January 2013 by Skip1957 @skip1957

One of the things I've come to appreciate, and love about my wife, is she accepts me the way I am.......why, I don't know, but I'm glad she does.

My hair had actually been quite long, just before Christmas, and our oldest son was getting married on the 24th, so I thought it might be a good idea too spruce myself up a little, so the first order of business, was to get a haircut. Now, my youngest son, has his own hair cutting tools, and I made the mistake of telling him, I was going for a haircut. He then told me, hey Dad, I can cut it, save a few bucks. Apparently I had a brain fart at the moment, and said, Okay!. This was the day before the wedding. Well, he cut, and he cut, and there were a few "whoops" as he was cutting, I was actually thankful, there were no mirrors close by at the time. Anyway, he finished the cutting, and I cautously made my way to a mirror. It actually looked pretty good, a little long on the top yet, but I didn't want to risk anymore "whoops" because I didn't have a whole lot of hair left, and I sure as hell didn't want to have my whole head shaved bald!. The next day I added a little gel to the old hair, and styled a bit, and I actually didn't ruin any of the wedding pictures. Well my hair grows quite fast, and I have tto tell you, my wife is getting a great laugh at my expense when I get up in the morning. If I had to tell you what my hair looks like at the moment, it kind of looks like I got a great fright! Standing straight up on top. All I need to do now, is shave off my eyebrows to add a look of constant surprise!Yup, my wife is loving it for sure, although she hasn't said the dreaded "I told you so" as of yet. Now as I'm writing this, I'm sitting here in a housecoat, (blue velour) a t shirt, and the bottoms to my blue thermal  long underwear, and wool socks, and moccasins, a real sexy combination, according to my wife. I think she was being sarcastic though, because after i left the room, I heard a lot of laughter behind me!
