They say that you find parts of those you love in everything you see.
I still find parts of you in everyone I see and where ever I go. You know, the other day I saw a guy walking just the way you used to and it hit me, it hit me so hard, that how much I miss seeing you walk that way. Yesterday I saw a guy smoking and I just thought of you, wondering if you reduced your smoking or not. A month back, I had a glance of someone and he looked so much like you that I had to cross check thrice to be sure that it wasn’t you. Everytime I walk past the places we used to meet, all the memories come back and sometimes I just simply go sit in these places in order to hug those memories one more time. I still look in all the red cars, because you once told me that you drive a red car, in the hope that it is you who is driving it. It’s weird how even simple words like ‘nice’ and ‘wow’ are enough to make me remember you. It’s funny that a laugh that sounds so much like you makes me turn around and look for you, even when I know you wouldn’t be there. I literally search you in all the places in the hope that searching for you like this might actually make you appear in front of me, standing and smiling as we meet coincidently on the same roads where we desperately used to make plans to meet.
They say that you find parts of those you love in everything you see and well, they were right.
