Winner of Championship for the Ages Poetry Competition
Recently, I entered a poem into Championship for the Ages, a multi-round poetry competition, over at Because We’re Poets. Thanks muchly to your support and votes– I took home the virtual badge today.

I know many of you made your way over there to vote for all the various stages and I know it wasn’t easy. Many times the poems were entirely different in content and style. I saw a lot of friendly faces– not just for the rounds I was in, but for others.
In other words, you boggle my mind with your generosity of readership and spirit. Thank you for all that you do.

Winner of Richard Levesque’s Raffle
I was, also unexpectedly, one of the winners of author Richard Levesque’s book giveaway. I received my signed copy in the mail right away because Richard is amazing, and on top of his game. Check out his work and his blog– it’s all pretty terrific. Other than information on his books, you’ll find some recent posts on dealing with reviews and others on why he writes sci-fi. In other words, there are fun things to be found for all of us– writers and geeks alike.
