It’s All About the Giraffes

“Short poems are anti giraffe” ~ the giraffe union “Giraffism is the only way of life” ~the giraffe priest of Camelopardalis temple “If God wanted us to read short poems he would have given us six legs” ~a kid “those who write short poems must really hate giraffes a lot” ~a big shot after a big shot … I have always wanted to write a short poema poem that will be chihuahua smallwill have seven to eight  lines and not be complicated at allnot bound by bold or italicsor words that will make it too tall but then i was struck by a thoughta thought which came with a huge potthat if i write a poem so small how will the giraffes read it !They do have long black tongue which looks purple and their saliva is antiseptic says Dr. Curplebut that wont help them read my poem so smallgiraffism is all about big and tallso sitting on a limetaking a lot of time i wrote a poem which was bigand the giraffes read and liked it.but now cats don’t like me at all©Somkritya
