my recent 'room with a view' post was shot from the top of the fire island lighthouse pictured above. climbing to the top of the lighthouse so I can get a bird's-eye view of fire island is one of my favorite things to do and so is taking the walk along the boardwalk in order to get there. thanks to everyone for taking a guess in identifying my last two posts and congratulations to alexa for nailing it! today also happens to be mellow yellow monday. please visit drowsey monkey if you'd like to add your own bit of yellow mellowness.
