Jullus Thompson Presenting at the 2012 AJC-Decatur Book Festival!   Wow!

It feels fantastic to be invited to be a presenter at a major national book festival. I recently received the email that I would be speaking at the Labor Day book festival national event.

I’m a presenter on the Local Prose Stage at the 2012 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel inDecatur,Georgia.

I will be speaking on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 4:45 pm for twenty minutes with ten minutes left for a Q/A Session.

I look forward to seeing everybody at the Sixth annual AJC Decatur Book Festival on the square inDecatur,Georgia. The AJC Decatur Book Festival is the largest community supported independent book festival in the nation.

I will discuss my novels: A Brownstone in Brooklyn, Philly Style and Philly Profile, the National Gold Medal award-winning Ghost of Atlanta and the soon to be published Purple Phantoms in 2012. Passionate Writer Publishing out of Indianapolis, Indiana has done a fantastic job with my fourth novel Purple Phantoms. I will read excerpts from Purple Phantoms and discuss the process of writing, publishing and marketing my first novel outside of the Julius Thompson Trilogy.

Purple Phantoms’ one-line synopsis: “Five Ghosts—basketball players whose lives were cut short—return to haunt five basketball starters to help them try to win the coveted State Championship.”
