Happy Earth Day!
Whether you knew it or not, it’s here, that one day a year when some of us remember to acknowledge that we should take care of our planet. Apparently some people do it every day. Who knew?
The rest of you, go do something good for the planet…but first, in honor of Earth Day (and national poetry month) a poem:
It’s Earth Day again, a green day for sure,
When all work for clear skies and water that’s pure.
It’s a goal that is worthy of more than one day,
But a good way to remind us (now here comes some cliché(s)).
If we all do our part and treat the Earth as we should,
We may be surprised by all the change for good.
To bring about big change, there’s one thing we know,
It starts with just one act, and then starts to grow.
We all make a difference, no matter how small.
The Earth is for each one of us…after all.
