Happy Saturday, fellow crusaders! I hope you’re enjoying the day, or at least being productive so you can enjoy tomorrow.
While you’re going about your weekend, maybe take a few moments to think about those who aren’t having a normal weekend.
As you may have noticed, it’s been a rough hurricane season in more ways than one. I’ll save some facts about climate change for another day, but today I’d like to remind you that there are a lot of people hurting right now.
To my fellow Americans, remember that even though Puerto Rico isn’t a state its people are our fellow citizens of the United States. They deserve the same help and relief we would offer to any of the fifty states. Not to mention, they’re people impacted by a natural disaster.
If you haven’t already, consider helping out. There are many organizations offering aid, but the Hispanic Federation is a good one if you’re not sure where to send your donation.
