Hey there, fellow crusaders, comrades, mis amigos, meine freunde, and my friends. Guess what, it's International Day of Friendship!
What would life be without friendship? It's a rhetorical question, but I'll answer it anyway.
It wouldn't be much.
Friends are the ones who have your back. They tell you like it is. They celebrate the highs. They get you back on your feet during the lows. They show up for you and you show up for them.
Someone somewhere said that friends are the family we choose. Of course what this lovely gem of a notion leaves out is that they choose us right back. That is where the true power and magic of friendship lies.
So how do you celebrate these important people in your life on a day like today? Well, I'll leave that up to you. Whatever it is I hope it's filled with all the love and acceptance that comes with true friendship.
