…Look Forward

With Christmas behind us, it’s time to start looking forward to 2014.

Of course, before we move forward, at times like these we can’t help but take a look back. Which given the results of a new poll conducted by the Associated Press, might not be the best idea.

According to the poll, 25 percent of Americans think 2013 was better a better year for the country than 2012, and 25 percent think it was worse. Apparently the remaining 50 percent are holding out on sharing their opinions until 2013 has officially come to a close (so, it’s still got a chance).

But on the bright side, and an attempt to end on a high note, 49 percent think 2014 will be better than 2013, while 14 percent think the new year will be worse than its predecessor.

So 2013 may not have been that great, but at least it didn’t cause us to lose our optimism…more or less.
