In the past 2WC has shared our March Madness journey’s. We’ve offered up our triumphs, apparent defeats, and ultimate victories as our brackets journeyed through the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, Final Four, all the way to the championship game.
Not this year.
It’s not because of completely obliterated brackets (both of us still have half of our Final Four, and one of us still has her championship team in the running [it's Stephanie 
])
Okay, yes, yes it is. After a fairly successful first round, the second all but destroyed both of our brackets. We had high hopes for several teams that just let us down.
We would specifically like to address the Jesuit institutions.
First of all, thanks for hanging in there Marquette (<3 Zer).
SLU, Gonzaga—what happened?
Don’t you know, the Jesuits are having a good run right now? They have a pope for Christ’s sake. On another note, it was a great season SLU, well done.
In an effort to find a silver lining, we do have a slight advantage over our fellow March Madness viewers. While we may have lost any hope of winning with our brackets (although, crazier things have happened), we can now sit back relax and hope that our competition crashes and burns.
