Oh, Monday. You're back, and not a moment too soon. And yes, I mean that sincerely.
To those who haven't had their coffee yet, prepare yourself for an unpopular opinion. I like Mondays.
Honestly and truly, they are one of my favorite days of the week.Why?
Not because I love setting an alarm (It's the worst) or because I live for the daily commute (That's a hard NO).
It's the newness of it. While the slate may not be wiped clean, you at least have more room for potential.
Not every Monday is going to be a winner. Some will just be downright awful. But they always serve as a reminder that even in the midst of something scary and new (like the work week), there's so much potential. What that leads to is up to you.
Okay, that's my little (hopefully not too obnoxious) ray of sunshine for the day. Now, back to the caffeine and the daily grind. Get out there and make today what you want it to be.
