In the new year, I planned lots of ways to keep track of 2013…have I done any of them? No. I planned to write down everything I buy so I can see where I’m over spending and buying things I don’t need…and just out of pure interest I could add up everything and the end of year and probably want to cry. I also wanted to keep a diary and write down just a short paragraph of what I did each day…I did that till the 10th of January until I had to pay to use the app… Skint in January…can’t afford a silly app!! I also wanted to start a memories pot on January 1st so I could look back at the end of the year and remember that I have had a brilliant year and get all emotional and bring out the smiles! I’m not sure what my excuse is on this one, but I didn’t do it nevertheless. So, the other day I began my very own memories pot! I’ll carry it on till the end of the year, then if 2014 is any better, I’ll be doing all three things I planned to do this year starting on January 1st!
So here’s my memories jar….Mumma Hann bought me this at Christmas, it’s a beautiful jar, has my most favorite place written on it (Paris) and it goes perfectly with all my other bits and bobs scattered in my room!
I wrote the date on the bottom just so I can remember when I started. As you can see I’ve already got two memories in there, just silly ones with my boyfriend that I can look back on and remember April 17th
