Who wakes me up early in the morning,
Puts my head on her lap,
Plays with my hair,
And floats her affectionate hand on my face

Who doesn't care for any alarm,
But wait for mom to wake me up
And to feel the eternal love in her lap
I pick up her hand and put it on my face.

Who makes the best cuisines in the world
Let go her tastes and choices for me,
Plays all the foolish games with me,
And fights even with her better half for me.

Who can eat at the best of the places outside
But come back to Mom to satiate hunger,
For every delicacy that she makes
Becomes the best and delicious with her touch

Who first read my books to make me study
Skips her office to help me finish my homework,
She remains awake to just give me milk and nuts overnight,
And, without fail, wakes me up early in the morning for school.

Who is dependent on mom for everything
For schoolbag to books to lunch,
For motivation and love at midnight,
And, her love is the only alarm clock that I have had.

When nobody is her best friend,
Who likes to know all my funny escapades in college
For she wants to live another college life with me.

Who doesn't want to share my pranks with her,
And just can't share my girlfriend names with her.
Who start getting irritated by her caring demeanor
For I perhaps have become old enough to take care of myself

Who wishes that I get all the happiness
Even when my calls become less frequent
And she just prays to god for my wellness
And success in every phase of life

Who realizes every instant in the outside world,
That Mom is the best friend that one can ever have,
Who now knows that mom was always right
In her teachings, and her sayings about the world and life.

Who likes to be affectionate in the new family,
And wants to give lessons to the to-be mother,
To blend my life with eternal happiness
