Blimey, I’ve seriously lost myself in the last couple of weeks! I’ve done so little blogging and reading it’s unreal! Going back to work has completely fooled me and left me ridiculously tired! Here’s a little post to catch you all up!
So, I’m still working on my Invisible Conditions documentary. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, it’s a photographic documentary focusing on mental health issues. For more info see blog post called ‘Late night writing’ or something life that! It’s going well and I’ve done a couple more interviews! I’m also working on a fair few other assignments at college so that’s my main focus!
Yesterday I went to London to photograph London Fashion Weekend with others for Canon. Was it enjoyable? Yes and no. I do enjoy that kind of environment, and don’t get me wrong I do admire beautiful clothes, but fashion photography is just not my thing. Once you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it all!
After I’d finished there, myself and my boyfriend took a stroll around London. We wasn’t sure where to go so I gave us the task of finding London fairy dust! We went to Covent Garden, Camden, Leicester Square and couldn’t find any! I ended up Googling it and found that there was a shop called Mystical Fairies in Hampstead. Do you realize you’re a loser, you ask me. Yes I do, but I love it!

I’m back in London on Wednesday for an interview at Westminster University. This is for the journalism course. I’m very nervous as it’s a group interview, but hopefully I’ll meet some nice people! If I get time I really want to try and find Camellia’s Tea House which is around Carnaby Street. I have no idea why but it just look so adorable and cute! I’ll be taking my Diana to London so it’s a perfect place to get some vintage shots for an idea I want to do with a vase, negatives and candles!!
