Lately, I've discovered how important colors are for the overall look of a drawing or painting. The more thought through the colors are, usually the more sophisticated the overall look is. I'm enjoying water color painting more and more (especially while listening to french music), but I admit that I'm really looking forward to start painting on some better paper. The rough and grainy texture of my cheap watercolor doesn't exactly match my delicate motives.
