I've been really debating with myself the last couple of days about whether I should post drawings/photos that I'm not 100% happy with. After finishing my last painting, I felt that I had made such a breakthrough, that everything I would sketch and draw from that point on should be great.
That's sadly not how you progress. Sometimes you make one step forward and two steps back. Then surprisingly you jump three steps forward again.
Milton Glaser seems to know quite a lot about the relationship between failure and professionalism (better known as the comfort zone), and a lot of his thoughts persuaded me to post my raw sketches here.
